day 1

dear diary,

today marks the beginning of my amazing, spectacular, sensational fishing journey with my dad. we’re gonna catch a boat load of fish, and by the end of it, i’m gonna be a frickin fishing professional.

day 167

dear diary,

the number of fish we’ve been catching keeps dropping. yesterday we caught like 20 something fish, but today we only caught 1. i don’t know why it dropped by so much. dad said something about too many fishermen fishing fish. i just hope it isn’t too constant.

day 182

dear diary,

today dad and me went out on the sea again. we caught literally nothing. not a single fish bit for some reason. hopefully tomorrow we’ll get at least one bite. i think we just need to put more bait on the lane.

day 189

dear diary,

okay so we haven’t caught anything for a whole week now. thats the longest dry spell we’ve had in forever. im starting to get really worried. it also doesn’t help that we keep picking up algae. its just getting all over the place, bloody ridiculous.

day 191

dear diary,

dad says we aren’t allowed to go fishing anymore. something about there being no more fish to catch. but i don’t believe him. shouldn’t there be like an infinite number of fish. the only way to run out of fish is if we fished too much.
